Quality Guitar Maker

I build handcrafted instruments in a small shop located in the near south side of Fort Worth. As a child, my father introduced me to guitars. He has worked on, and with guitars for most of his life, and in 2006 I attended the same Lutherie school that he did in 1972. The Roberto Venn school of Lutherie is located in Phoenix Arizona, and was a great introduction to the construction of instruments. From there I spent almost 2 years working in Austin Texas at a guitar factory.

I was fortunate to work with some amazing people and further myself in an environment like no other. In 2008, I moved to Fort Worth where I began acquiring tools and wood. I began building in a small apartment in West Fort Worth while working at a coffee shop down the street. In 2013 I was able to open my current shop at 201 S. Calhoun. I enjoy the building process, and many of my instruments are very traditional designs that I think will always be wonderful, when done well. I also enjoy the process of working with a customer to build a more unique instrument that suits their needs as well as possible.
